Meet The Tiner Commercial Team
Ben TinerCommercial Principal / Associate Broker
After earning his Managerial Economics degree from U.C. Davis, Ben joined the commercial team at Tiner Properties in 2005 as a Commercial Asset Manager. Ben is a licensed California Real Estate Broker and actively manages the Commercial Portfolio of an estimated Three million square feet of retail, office, medical, and industrial space throughout the Greater Sacramento Area. He is active in both the sale and leasing of commercial property. Ben’s clients include the Government Services Administration (GSA), CarQuest, Sprint, Subway, medical practitioners and investment holding companies. Ben is driven by his passion for every client, property and transaction he is involved with. Ben’s book “Commercial Property Leasing” is an essential tool for everyone involved with commercial real estate. Ben’s most recent achievement is earning his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation.
Holly WallisCommercial Property Accountant
Holly joined the Tiner team in 2013 in the Residential Division as the front desk receptionist and has moved up quickly due to her great skill set & work ethic. She was promoted to the Leasing Department, where she used her customer service and communication skills on a daily basis. Holly soon advanced to assistant property manager and took on the property management accounting system. Holly has transferred to the Commercial Division and is now a full time Property Accountant. Holly is dedicated and organized in her work and always keeps a smile on her face. In her spare time she enjoys the company of her friends and family, whether it is on a Disney vacation or quick trip to the store.
Jeanette ThaiAccounting Manager
Jeanette came to Tiner Properties in 2017 with a strong accounting background in Commercial Real Estate with over 18 year of experience. She began her accounting career in public accounting before transitioning to commercial real estate in 2002. Her exemplary skills in property management, lease administration and her extensive knowledge of GAAP and Yardi system is a great benefit to her clients and the Tiner Commercial Division.
Julie MaldonadoCommercial Property Manager
Julie Maldonado has joined Tiner Properties as a Commercial Property Manager. Her six year experience in Commercial Real Estate includes managing retail, industrial, office and land. Her real estate experience also includes approximately seven years as a Sr. Loan Officer for residential mortgages. Julie has maintained a great rapport with her clients, tenants and vendors. She is very passionate about her job and looks forward to growing in the industry. Julie has been licensed with the CA Department of Real Estate since 2004.
Krystal TinerCommercial Property Manager
Krystal began her career in property management in the Residential Division of Tiner Properties in 2009. After successfully navigating all aspects of residential management and successfully managing her own portfolio, she transitioned those skills to the Commercial Division in 2017. Krystal has proven herself to be a smart, thorough and efficient manager. Her common sense approach and positive attitude assure her clients they are dealing with a true professional. When Krystal is not working she enjoys spending time with her family in the outdoors on the river or camping.
Stuart Snider joined Tiner Commercial Real Estate Services in March 2017 after spending 17 years with Core Commercial, TRI Commercial and Grubb & Ellis respectively. He began his career with Norris, Beggs & Simpson as a databank coordinator learning about the Sacramento and performing research for the NBS brokers. He then moved to Connolly Development of Sacramento as an in-house leasing agent for the firm’s eight Raley’s Supermarket anchored shopping centers in Northern California. He then joined Parker Stevenson Brokerage in Sacramento achieving ‘Top Broker’ designation in 1998.
Stuart was born and raised in the Central Valley city of Turlock, and graduated from UC Davis with a BS in Managerial Economics. He has an in-depth knowledge of major shopping centers and future retail developments in the Sacramento/Stockton/Modesto Metro Areas as well as the fast growing Foothills markets. His past and current landlord clients include McNellis Partners, Donahue Schriber, Passco, J&S Management, Shelter Bay Retail, Cadence Capital and Merlone Geier. Current and past tenant representation clients include Subway, Jack in the Box, Popeye’s Louisiana Chicken, Grocery Outlet, Goodwill, Cornerstone Senior Living, The Learning Exchange, Golden Corral, and Tera Petroleum/Car Wash Centers.
When not looking for the next site or tenant, he enjoys spending time with his family (wife, Lisa and daughters, Jane and Audrey), cooking, mountain and road biking, cooking, photography, camping, skiing and having a glass of wine.
Tony WoodCommercial Principal / Associate
Tony Wood is well known for his market insights and signature “Forensic Approach” to commercial real estate transactions. For over 30 years Tony has specialized in a wide spectrum of commercial real estate services. With extensive experience in all real estate property types and ownership structures, Tony’s experience includes the leasing and sale of office, retail, industrial, investment and owner-user properties throughout the Western United States. His consulting services encompass valuation, market studies and transactional trusted advisor. He is retained as a professional witness and consultant to banks, law firms, insurance companies and CPAs. Tony is motivated by the difference he can make in each transaction.
